Tibar Bay Port, located near Dili, East Timor, is the country's largest infrastructure project, officially inaugurated on November 30, 2022. This modern container seaport, operated by Africa Global Logistics, significantly enhances East Timor's maritime cargo capacity, handling up to one million containers annually, thus addressing previous limitations and congestion at PortofDili.
Tibar Bay Port, as the largest national project in Timor-Leste, will carry all of the country's shipping tasks in the future, reflecting the immense importance the nation places on it. Even details like the restrooms are sure to be perfected.
Durability, corrosion resistance, and ease of cleaning are clearly the main considerations for restroom construction in this project. A World-class infrastructure company ultimately chose to partner with JIALIFU for the construction of the port's bathroom toilet partitions.
Powder coated steel toilet partitions is our top recommendation for this port. After discussions, we finalized 18mm powder coated partitions as the partition material. The surface consists of steel plates, with a high-density aluminum honeycomb core in between, making it durable, corrosion-resistant, and environmentally friendly, while also being easy to clean.
For the accompanying phenolic bench, we recommended the equally durable 12mm compact laminate board. This ensures strength while making the overall space lighter, providing a more comfortable environment for port employees.
304 stainless toilet partition fittings run through the entire project, from hinges for toilet cubicle doors, hooks, and restroom stall locks, to toilet partition legs, resisting the humid and corrosive coastal climate, adding deeper significance to the entire restroom.
In all JIALIFU projects, we pre-drill the holes for all the toilet cubicle fittings and provide detailed installation manuals. This was no exception for the Tibar Bay Port project. The installation time was significantly reduced during construction, avoiding many potential issues and giving this port a head start.
Head rail braced is the classic installation method for toilet partitions, and it was perfectly applied in this project. The powder-coated top rail enhances the structure's stability. Of course, floor to ceiling toilet partitions are the perfect choice for durability, making excellent use of space. The color-matched head panel further elevates the overall cohesion of the space!
The surface of the Toilet partition board uses a never-fading electrostatic powder coating process with a wide variety of options. The colors of HPL material surfaces are equally diverse!
