Toilet and shower cubicles, Phenolic lockers for CNB, Singapore
Changi Naval Base (CNB), officially known as the RSS Singapura, is a naval base of Singapore Navy (RSN). Located about 3.5 kilometres east of Singapore Changi Airport. When refurbishing their washroom and locker room, Jialifu was chosen as their preferred supplier for improving their facilities.
“We prefer the economical option of the toilet and shower cubicles for this project, and the cubicles should be durable enough", Chan said.
To meet the need of builders, the overhead braced toilet partitions were suggested to CNB in Singapore, with materials 12m thick phenolic compact board in light marple color and heavy-duty black nylon hardware. After talking with Engineer Teo, team jialifu knew that the previous washroom and shower are separated by the brick wall. While now, the brick wall was taken down, and only keep 150mm high kerb. In this way, Jialifu Designer Gao suggested the middle dividers all are attached to the 150mm high kerb by aluminum U rail, and leave 150mm clearance on the bottom of pilasters, the absence of legs on the front part bring a unique and simple design for washroom cubicles.
Concerning the lockers room, the most popular model, 2 tier lockers were confirmed for CNB Singapore. Jialifu L2006 series with yellow color combination attracted the builder's attention. The ventilation design on each door of the lockers helps a lot in keeping the air clean and fresh inside the cabinets. The changing room lockers used the same materials as the toilet and shower cubicles, and all locker doors with R6 corner & radius bullnose edges, which are safe for users. The phenolic lockers look different from the traditional plywood lockers, without PVC trimming, and more modern.
